This playlist is sick. Some other bands I was thinking of putting were Pup (good pick whoever you are), Joyce Manor, Mannequin Pussy, or Anxious. I’m surprised to not see Turnstile on here.

 

Kind of pleasantly surprised to not see Turnstile on this one tbh. Militarie Gun, Joyce Manor, and Mannequin Pussy definitely all crossed my mind, too.

 

Definitely thought about Militarie Gun. Turnstile seemed too obvious. Dazy is one I thought about just now that would’ve been perfect.

 

I had a song in my head that I wanted to submit, but couldn't figure out what the song is. It's like, early 2000s hip hop, probably a group of 3+ members, honestly might have been in one of the games, but the lyrics are like.... "what's golden... we're holding on to whats (???) taking it back to whats golden" or something like that..... @The Lucky Moose help.

 

Jurassic 5 is definitely a THPS rap group lol

This playlist was so much fun! Probably the hardest time I've had sorting out points in a while... Some super fun stuff in there.

I had a pretty hard time picking one this time around. But this is one that I came close to adding. My friends and I used to make our own playlists/soundtracks to listen to while playing in college and this one was on a whole bunch of mine over the years... I opted for something else because the vocals get kinda grating by the end but the beat and the hook are 100% THPS-coded.

 

Feels like this next round could very easily turn into just “who can pull the best yo gabba gabba feature”

 

Or Wu-Tang. Wu-Tang is for the children...

Not that anybody’s asking for it, but this is my THPS playlist. Mostly newer stuff, but it’s got a few era appropriate cuts too. Of course had to add a few more after this last round!

 

Honestly didn't know Kick Push was in a later game, I stopped playing video games in like 2003

There's so much goodness on this! A lot of stuff I wouldn't have thought of as relevant (Bully, Narrow Head, Soul Blind, Bleed, Fleshwater, NHOI) but absolutely rips.

And props for the AWS, Over It, and Rufio!

 

So does the song for this round have to be a song made for kids or can it be a song that sounds like it could be for kids but isn’t? lol

 

This is great, now I wish I thought of Bully for that round. Also hadn't listened to Rufio in years!
