Ok my sister just clued me in that the male vocals on Bring Me to Life is just from some random guy who’s not even in the band?!? What the fuck?!? I thought Evanescence had a prominent male vocalist in their lineup for like 25 years

 

Lol I actually learned that very recently too. He’s in/was in some other band that is certainly not notable for anything else

 

I actually knew that because I bought the CD when it came out and was very disappointed they weren't actually a dual vocals band

First, should I extend the deadline
Second, should I be permanently giving us one extra day than usual to vote?

 

Torn on this, I kinda like the faster pace but don't want people to regularly get caught offguard by the deadline

 

Yeah same. I prefer a quicker pace but don’t want anyone here to reach a point where they feel stressed out or inconvenienced by the league enough to leave

 

I think the best balance is more time to vote and less time to submit songs. We already know the themes, so it's better to have a wider window to listen to what everyone picked and write comments/vote. 5 days to vote and 2 to submit feels right to me.

 

I think I can make that happen, that would be songs for each Friday instead of Saturday if my math is correct

The way I'm reading the description for the next round, it can be sung in Spanish OR from a Latinx artist, so theoretically, Spanglish would be okay too? Doesn't have to be full Spanish lyrics?
