The turn from Sufjan to SOAD is... something

 

I didn’t mind that playlist and I really loved that Eastman track and am sad it’s not doing better.

My track is doing better than I thought (but nowhere near the top). I forgot to write a description.

 

Next round is one of the first where I'm not racing to get a pick in lol

 

I have noooooo idea what to do for the next round, it's got such a wide scope

do their other tracks interpolate/sample other songs or is this a one off in that sense

 

nah, that was just a one off although the sound itself is extremely representative of her work.

Glad my HAIM pick was well-received in that last round. Was trying to walk the line between a good song but one that is also repetitive. That song benefits from being the opener because the trend of them repeating the titles of the songs over and over in each song hasn't caught up to you yet.

 

I have way too many things written down for the next round haha, gonna take a little bit to pare down the list and try to not accidentally think of more

 

That jumpscare round is a very weird category and after almost two months I only have two things written down for it, one of which is BYOB which I probably won’t use now lol

 

@bobsheiskawy i totally considered using a story around the first time I heard SOAD’s “sugar” for this next round, but alas .

I’ve basically punted on doing well this season, I only used that song for the LOLz.
