I’m surprised the Acceptance pick isn’t doing better, that’s like ap.net kibble

 

I honestly never got the intense love for them. I like the first album enough, but it never was huge for me

 

I loved the debut - the reunion album not as much, but still got swept up by the hype. Really liked a few of the songs though, including Come Closer. Made a mental note to revisit that album this week, bet it’s been 6-7 years

I love that the two longest songs were put back-to-back

 

I liked that the description of the Slowdive song mentioned my bloody valentine and Hum, then BOOM both show up on the playlist

Had to submit real quick for this round because I had such a hard time thinking of anything that wasn’t the most obvious choice (which I won’t step on any toes by saying out loud)

 

Hope I'm not spoiling anyone's pick, but I still remember being at the Chicago show of the Stampeding Machines tour (Gatsbys American Dream, HORSE the Band, Forgive Durden, Portugal. The Man, My American Heart, Waking Ashland, and This Providence) in May 2006 and HtB announced that they were dropping off the tour to record an EP about pizza and, sure enough, we got this a few months later:
