I was expecting at least one mwY song.

I had these others on my list:

    Finom - 3 2 4 3
    Karate - In Hundreds
Kishi Bashi - Summer of ‘42
    Los Campesinos! - 5 Flucloxacillin
    No Joy - Four
The Promise Ring - Become One Anything One Time

Honestly shocked I didn't even think of Feist for this, 1234 seems so obvious now! But that was sort of how I started this round: I couldn't think of anything initially. I started going through Mountain Goats songs for inspiration and then I realized I knew plenty of songs with numbers in the title lol

Pretty good feeling to be the last to vote, then after you submit you see you won the round ;-)

  4. This round is gonna be so hard to pick for! Already submitted one and then switched. Might switch again

Yeah I’ve switched songs three times already but whatever I settle on is gong to be from the same pretty obvious artist.

Hope those who liked the Ceres track check them out! The new album is kinda long (but imo it goes by quickly) so if you need something shorter to get acquainted their previous album, We Are a Team, is also excellent.

  11. Just fiddled around with picks a bit, almost all of my alts have been taken. Gonna know who’s behind a few of these choices right from the jump lol. Excited for this playlist

Had kind of a hard time coming up with something for this round lol. Every band I thought of I would look it up and it would turn out to be like 8 years between albums, not a full 10.

I also had a hard time, the 10 year time period made this tricky. And I knew my first pick would be the first to go, did not submit fast enough. But I'm happy with my pick!

Pretty happy with my pick but it took a while to get there. My #1 was gone pretty quickly... And anything else I was thinking of wound up being in the 8-9 year range rather than 10.

  15. I onyl had one band in mind for this and didn't look into it anymore than that lol.

Also, whoever said they should finally listen to Title Fight should listen to Floral Green, and @trevorshmevor should give that album another chance! It's their best and one of the best that genre/time period ever produced. An all-timer.

I don't know what it is, but I can't get into Title Fight, they should be up my alley but I just never really come away with anything when I listen. Last time I revisited their stuff I got a few songs into Shed and Floral Green and didn't finish either album

  17. Have you tried Hyperview out of curiosity? Only curious because that album is so stylistically different. But I adore Shed and Floral Green, so hey, might just be different strokes for different folks.

It seems I feel the way about Title Fight a lot of folks seem to feel about Turnover.

  18. Oh I’ve tried with them a bunch, especially Floral Green. Saw them live once too. Idk, I just totally check out whenever they come on! I don’t even dislike what I hear, it’s just in one ear and out the other. I’ll let you know in a couple of years when I eventually try with them again haha

Yeahhhh I've heard them all at least a few times, I didn't on this discography runthrough because the first two didn't really catch me again, maybe I'll go back to it

This was a hard one to pick for. I was thinking Copeland or Thrice but I don’t think either of them broke up for even 5 years lol. The first three songs I tried to submit for this round already had submissions from the same album.

  22. Man. Thinking ahead about that last round and my heart is pulling me towards a pretty wild pick that will likely hit with some people and annoy others, while my brain is telling me to go with a different pick that is more reasonable that people will dig. Hmmm.

Music for Airports is the first place my mind went, but my favorite track is nine minutes and the first track is obviously repetitive by design so I don't know how folks in here would react. Shockingly good amount of options for songs over 10 minutes.

  23. For future reference I would give Brian Eno points
