I like both Fun. records more than either Format record, but Dog Problems is pretty great.

  3. Will always love The Format, have never really cared for Fun. I get the appeal, it's just not really for me

I also like the first two Bleachers records more than The Format, but I know I’m maybe alone in that haha.

For anyone wanting to dig into more of The Stereo, start with the album Rewind + Record or their newest, Thirteen.

I prefer fun. to The Format but the closer on Dog Problems is basically GOAT.

I like a lot of individual fun. songs more but I think Dog Problems is probably Nate’s most cohesive full album.

    I can't believe I got 4th. Probably would've been top 3 had I not missed the first round :-|

I'll post a survey thing to submit theme ideas for the next season and we'll aim to kick it off in March

I'll take this a step further and throw in the fact that Patrick Stump's vocal delivery is heavily inspired by Jamie from the Stereo and he still sometimes soundchecks with songs by his pre-Stereo band Animal Chin.

Real glad a few people enjoyed that pick who had never heard that band!

  18. This playlist was a particularly great one to end the season on. Great work, everyone

  19. It was! I wish I had known people were going to go more personal, I definitely would’ve gone with something that meant a little more to me/my wife, or held more weight. Jim Croce - Time In A Bottle comes to mind. True Love by Hovvdy too. Fade Into You is a big one for us - our old dog was named Mazzy haha

True love would have gotten 20 points from me. Absolutely perfect song and I’m mad I didn’t think of it.

  21. Hate that the Cigs After Sex guy ended up being an actual perv - Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby is a nearly perfect song that will always be tainted

    you or your memory

True Love and Fade Into You would've been great picks, can't believe I didn't think of Mazzy Star!

Also apologies for the existential crises that came with listening to If We Were Vampires lol

  23. Haha I was just messin with ya - that was a great song though. Always liked Isbell The Person but have never really done a dive into Isbell The Music. Making a note to check out that album next week!

This was going to be my pick - it was our first dance at our wedding - but it's not available on Spotify in the US:

Definitely was my other thought for hgb but I went with The Thought Gives Me The Creeps, both are great picks, as would be When We First Met and a few others
