yep I had it narrowed down to a few but thought that fit best, was going to do another of their songs but that feels cheap lol

I submitted one for now but might change it. This one is tough especially because Aaron purposely stole mine.

 

Apologies guys, have been working 12-14 hour days for most of the past week and got confused by the time difference in the southern hemisphere - thought I had an extra 24 hours (but my pick bombed so not the worst result).

 

Is the idea for this theme to use a modern song that sounds like it came from the past or can it be an old song?

 

Anything relative to when it was released. So like, if Sabrina Carpenter released a song that sounds like doo wop, or if a song from Thriller sounded like James Brown, ya know? Fall Out Boy doing 90s West Coast rap

A few updates from my last post. There are now 76 rounds It will start with "1949 or Earlier," round 2 is "1950-1953" then it goes yearly after that, with one Holiday Round for the 2025 holiday break.

Yep, it has always warned me of repeat artists, even if a different song.

 

The app flags if you try to submit an artist that is already submitted, but it allows you to still use that song. The app flags if it's the exact same song and does not allow it.

This makes more sense. Curious what song you were going to go with! There was a lot to pick from with him.
