Awesome, going to have to keep an eye out for their next tour, proper sounds too good to miss

 

I have 4-5 artists/albums that come to mind quickly for this round, and I expect to see, but I am trying to dig deeper to find something that is less.... obvious

 

So something interesting that I have noticed is that a few songs that came to mind with REALLY really long titles actually are shortened on Spotify .... specifically from 39 words down to 7 with just a "..." after the 7th word.

 

Yeah, the title of mine is shortened on both Spotify and Apple Music, so I just put the full thing in the comments.

 

Yeah I was gonna say to write it in the comments or link to the wikipedia page or something

This was the other song I was considering, but I didn't think y'all wanted 19 minutes of dissonant post-metal:

Lot of great picks here (and no Panic!), somewhat regretting mine

 

I did not have fun choosing a song for this round. Nothing really came to mind and I had trouble finding something that wasn’t ambient or post-rock.

 

Ha! Plenty of things I almost chose like the MCR and mwy songs

 

I’m glad someone chose a Sufjan song. I was kinda thinking of choosing
“The Black Hawk War, or, How to Demolish an Entire Civilization and Still Feel Good About Yourself in the Morning, or, We Apologize for the Inconvenience but You're Going to Have to Leave Now, or, 'I Have Fought the Big Knives and Will Continue to Fight Them Until They Are Off Our Lands!'” because it’s actually the longest song name I know but it’s just an interlude. Predatory Wasp is a much better song.

I was going with this Riley! song (because I was too much of a coward to go for extreme title length with Sufjan's "The Black Hawk War" or The Chariot's "Someday, In The Event That Mankind..."):

The full title for The Chariot's song is Some Day, in the Event That Mankind Actually Figures Out What It Is That This World Revolves Around, Thousands of People Are Going to Be Shocked and Perplexed to Find Out It Was Not Them. Sometimes, This Includes Me.
