For this round does it need to be a female solo artist, or can it be by a female fronted band?

 

I'm guessing anything with female vocals count

 

Or a female instrumentalist/composer!

 

I’ll be the pedantic one to warn that I’ll be prioritizing my votes towards solo artists and not bands

 

Not sure the genre I wanna go with for this

 

such a broad category, but I think I have an angle for what to submit

 

How do we feel about female lead vocals with occasional male backing vocals?

I would assume it’s still her just sticking to her guns on this stance. It’s a bit silly since she’s on all of the other streaming services with dogshit payouts, but I guess it’s where she drew her line

 

I tried to submit a song yesterday afternoon, soon after it opened for submissions. Only 3 people had submitted a song so far. Of all of the fucking songs from female artists and bands with frontwomen, someone had already chosen a song from the same fucking album that I wanted to choose. I know it’s chorus and that a lot of us have similar tastes, but I still can’t wrap my head about the odds of this happening.

 

Guess you’re just gonna have to pick a different Rosie O’Donnell album dude
