Did not like the vocals on the Clutch song

 

For me, the Strange Ranger song vocals were absolutely terrible.

 

ok this makes me feel better about saying that the song currently in last place actually deserves negative points ;)

 

Haha in my defense, I got fucked by getting my song put at the beginning of the playlist. In an ideal world, it would come after several of the crappy country-pop songs and no one would even know the difference until the second verse.

also i do understand not liking strange ranger's vocals on ranch style home. he almost sounds drunk which i thought was appropriate for "yeehaw" haha

 

Yeah, I like Strange Ranger but that one wasn't for me either

 

For me, it was just close enough to being on key, that the slight dissonance is what bothered me. And it really only happens when he holds the notes out.

I don't mind the timbre of his voice, I just thought it was an interesting move to stretch a voice like that into sustaining notes.

 

Love the Strange Ranger song, just don’t think it fits here

@trevorshmevor (and anyone else who liked the song) you should definitely check out that Lucero album. Easily their best for my money and one of my all-time favorites.
