I almost picked If She Wants a Cowboy too

 

Surprised to see a few 90s classics on here, "Neon Moon" did not do well when I submitted it for the round of songs you'd listen to with your parents

I'm gonna be real, I think the Zach Bryan hype is a little overblown

 

"Leave the Pieces" is a great pick. So is "Deeper Than the Holler."

 

Have you listened to his albums?

 

Just the self-titled one. I thought it was fine, everything about him is just fine to me - the songwriting, the voice, etc. Nothing really stuck with me as something I'd return to, which is a bummer because I keep seeing folks with good taste really hyping him up and I just don't get what's not clicking with me

I made a 10 song Zach playlist for my friend that I think is a great entry point for most people. You can skip the YAMS cover if you want but I think it's awesome

I don't think of this as "favorites" as much as it's a ten song "entry point" for new fans, in my opinion

 

I think my wife overplaying the Zach Bryan singles hasn't helped
