I think you'd find that country in general has built up some steam on this site over the past few years. The country thread is pretty active, and Kacey Musgraves was the staff album of the year in 2018.

within the last 24 hours or so i have realized that i am a pretty big fan of them. only heard wide open spaces so far but it is a tremendous display of pop songwriting
