It's premiering at Venice. Gonna be great.
That trailer is pretty bad but I have faith in Schrader (well…his movies at least).
Yeah that trailer was not too good
It is a sad state that someone as accomplished as Paul Schrader needs to have Martin Scorsese lend his name to secure funding and/or distribution, especially since his last film was a critical success.
Trailer isn't that good, but it's Paul Schrader so I'm sure the marketing department was having trouble figuring out another way to try and sell this thing.
Gonna be great
I still have high hopes for this but holy shit the promotion for it has been awful
they’re getting back at him for his FB posts
Alright fuck the weird trailer and poster I’m all the way back in let’s fucking go next Thursday night it’s SCHRADER SZN
Currently the only negative review on RT is from some guy who seems to only give bad reviews. He gave Minari a 2/5, and his review “Minari is a bunch of minari”
Anyway I’m very excited for this
I hope Tiffany Haddish doesn't look as bad in this as she did in the trailer. That was rough.
If I was a superhero movie defender I feel like Schrader's answer comparing supehero movies to cat videos on YouTube is more of a putdown than Scorsese comparing them to theme park rides.
I actually like the cat video comparison haha.
Yeah I thought this was fucking great
I think it’s pretty stupid that people keep asking this question of aging filmmakers over and over again for the sole purpose of trying to start some Discourse™ about it. Pretty exhausting honestly.
unless it's Werner Herzog of course
Yeah this was amazing, the trailer really didn't do it justice at all haha
Oscar Isaac is incredible, something about his hair in this bothers me though.
Also the fish eye lense scenes were haunting af
seeing this in a few hours
