Currently renting a 2023 Renegade and it's the weirdest car I've ever driven. You can only control the temperature with the touch screen but there is a physical dial for the fan speed. What the fuck? Also, I'm taking it back tomorrow because I'm too tall for it and I'm only 5'10"! I have it as far back as it can go! The brake pedal is also positioned significantly higher than the gas pedal and strains my ankle when I reach up for it, which is pretty bad for my sprained ankle. It's a shame, it handles really well. Feels like a sedan.
Idk why it's so hard to find a rental car near me. There are like 5 enterprise locations that are sold out. I told them I want a sedan and they had none. I hate driving big cars
Also the thing is like possessed. I went to put a bag of groceries in the back seat, completely unlocked and open, touching nothing, and the car just let out a single honk out of nowhere
So I just got an A17 warning on my 2019 civic. Guess that means oil change, brake fluid change and tire rotation. I only have 16,000 miles on it. Do I really need to change my brake fluid this early? Sounds kind of nuts to me, I've never changed brake fluid in ANY car I have ever owned haha. Also, my last oil change sticker said to change at December 2023 OR 18,000 miles. I haven't changed it since I'm not at the 18k miles yet and it said "OR"... so am I ok or what? Haha. Tire rotation still probably needed though.
You probably don't need to do the brake fluid, but I would change the oil if it's been a year since your last change. Ask them to check the tires and reset the light when you take it in and you should be good.
When his car reaches 18,000 on the odometer, not an oil change every 18,000 miles, that would insane.
Btw does anyone know if this looks like a normal safe repair for a brand new muffler and exhaust system? My fiance got into a fender bender in my car last year and I went through the mechanic that has a contract with my insurance. I feel like the seal around the top isn't fully sealed and has some rust in it? Also looks kind of dented when they had me wait 2 weeks for new parts. But I have no idea what I'm talking about. Posted it on a car Reddit and got no answers

Has anyone ever upgraded the infotainment display on their car? I'm talking one of the modern built-in ones. I drive a '19 Rav-4 and the display is unnecessarily out of date.
I inherited my Grandma's '03 Ford Taurus when I was in college and you know the first thing I did was install one of these bad boys.
I remember working at a Best Buy store in 2010-2011 and was always happy to have customers in the car audio area, especially if they were open to chatting about the various systems, as it meant I got to play around with them, haha
