Man this band legitimately write great songs. Hoping they go even further with the duality. Feel like they’re going to really make a significant dent in the scene - so excited for their career, and even their material afterwards (if they unfortunately break up)

 

Also this has some of my favorite drumming I’ve heard this year, incredible they can pull stuff like Violent Astrology live

 

Are the other bands on this tour worth sticking around for? I don’t pay attention much to this scene, but this record definitely caught my attention, and I’m thinking I might catch the show here tomorrow night because why not.

Just saw that they’re touring with Rolo and this is now pretty much a must see show

Absolutely second the recommendation for Rolo!!!!

 

some really interesting ideas on this record. wish things came together a bit smoother sometimes, the transitions from different sounding parts leave something to be desired at times. but other times like on title track it’s pulled off well. also on that one the vocals sound like letlive lol

Agreed on the transitions sometimes, that's what made it a little more chaotic than I want. Gonna keep spinning this and see if the songs grow on me. Star Baby has been stuck in my head though!

 

Seriously. All of Star Baby is so damn catchy.

Show last night was absolutely insane. Their Van apparently broke down on the way and they were late but still made it and it was worth the wait.

Never heard of this band. Listened to this album twice and I like it. It's weird. Gonna listen a lot more.

 

this thing fucking slays. i'm in love with title track.

 

i seriously can't get over how dummy the end of title track goes. got my head bobbing for days.

This album is really something special mannnnnnnnnnn

really want them to get even melodically weirder with their next one

i constantly look at how much time has elapsed listening to these songs and am blown away that there’s like multiple ~6min songs

 

I think Rolo is still on top for me, but this is not far off.
