The Bronx - The Bronx (VI) (2020) Album

One of my all time favorite bands. Their first two albums are classics and V was a step back in the right direction. I'm very excited for this.

 

V was good and gutted I missed the chance to see these guys live when they were touring, hopefully next time they come I won't miss them

 

One of the best live bands out there.

 

After two years in the can this thing is gonna come out!

The first three Bronx records are absolute classics that I will always cherish. IV and V, however, were hit or miss - and usually the latter for me. I have the first three on vinyl but never bothered with the last two.

This song sounds like a return back to their prime sound. Pre-ordered!

 

Yo! Five month wait though, seems long in modern times! Excited either way.

 

Yea, August seems so far away.

The new song is pretty good but feels like Bronx by the numbers.

 

This roll out has been way too long. My excitement and anticipation have really waned.

I like this album (well half of it) but with each record after III - I keep searching for that excitement that I got with their first three but I just don’t feel it.

IV, V, and now VI all have solid tracks but they also have fillers I always skip. The first three are borderline perfect though IMO ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Yup. I only remembered that this record came out today because it appeared on my Apple Music library.

 

I agree. I love the band and they’re one of the best live bands out there but the last 3 albums have been lacking.

 

Nah, this album kicks ass.

Easily the best of the last 3, at least.

 

After multiple spins I’m really digging this album.

 

Digging it. Way better than IV imo. I'm a big III guy.

 

This a nice return to form. They have regained some energy after sounding tired in their last record. "High Five" and "Jack of All Trades" are so fun and catchy. It's not a record looking to make a statement but The Bronx have never been about that.

 

Superbloom fucking rules. We love a 220bpm barnburner.
