I don't know why anyone thought there would be a 3rd season of Gen V after The Boys is done. They are obviously not doing much with them in the last season of The Boys.
Yeah Gen V S2 finale clearly wrapped it up. More disappointed that like @Freud says thus far they haven't showed up in S5 at all other than Marie getting name dropped a couple of times
The scene in the mansion with Seth and all them was the most fun this show has been since the first season.
It being Boys canon now that Bill Hader did not survive the purges made me laugh lol. The meta thing they were doing was kind of fun for a few of those scenes

i mean, yeah, they should focus on making the show good first--and they can't even do that! just finished the ep and i was kinda bored the entire time. we finally get some gen v crossover but there was barely any and it wasn't even good. gen v wasn't a great show either but it still had some cool characters, it's a wasted opportunity that they weren't utilized in the main show. and more and more it's looking like the main show isn't gonna stick the landing either. vought rising mightve had a better chance of ppl giving a shit if the boys actually ended on a high note
Sheesh a lot is made of the constant cringe dialogue but the story this season is just trash. Nothing makes any sense, every terrible out of character decision is explained with exposition that feels forced and dumb.
Every time an episode begins I feel like I accidentally skipped an episode. They just jump around doing pointless shit, however the previous episode ends barely factors into it. I would be shocked if this ends in any satisfying way
