Didn’t finish last season thought it stunk

 

I finished it but also thought it was quite bad.

Tbh kinda weird that the trailer doesn't even briefly show the prison camp that the good guys were sent to at the end of last season

 

I thought season 4 started and ended pretty good, but that middle stretch REALLY dragged. The Tek Knight episode is almost certainly the worst episode of the series IMO

 

Season 3 was great but had a bad ending. Season 4 was bad but had a great ending

 

think I stopped watching s4 and never watched Gen V

hopefully they end on a high note

Gen V is worth it but the second series becomes The Boys S4.5 at the end which I think is to its detriment

In agreement that season 4 wasn't great and I haven't bothered to rewatch it. Season 5 is off to a good start though.

The show's more edgy jokes continue to not land for me. I hate when it's gross just because. There was a point where I might've chuckled but it's getting real old and now I just roll my eyes

Haven't caught up to this season yet but I did come across a clip of rock guy in a Youtube reel lol. Jeeze. I just thought it was funny that he's basically just a fatter version of the rock guy from Thor Ragnarok visually

i am enjoying this season so far

 

Season has been pretty good, wonder how this all wraps up. I think bringing back Solider Boy this season was a good edition. There still are characters though that I could give a crap less about; Ashley and her dumb powers, Sage, Aqua Boy, Noir, The Super Priest, Firecracker.

 

I think all the stuff with the supes is way more entertaining that anything going on with the Boys themselves. For the past two eps it's felt like this V1 stuff is a lot of them just spinning their wheels waiting for the actual final conflict to kick in.

 

Yeah this episode in particular was them just spinning their wheels.

 

Homelander / soldier boy is the most interesting dynamic and I loved him suffering in that chamber for a while. Getting tired of the boys themselves, ready for the show to wrap up.

Boooo well hope we see them and get closure with the gang in these next episodes. Surely starlight got them doing something.

 

Yeah I do like those characters quite a bit. I was hoping they'd be a little more prominent in this last season of the main show tbh

 

ironic that watching a show called the boys i only care about what happens to annie and kimiko at this point, tho i am amused by ashley, firecracker, and sister sage shenanigans
