not liking hunger games isn’t the flex that post insinuates it is, haha.

I think I’ve been on Goodreads for like 14 years now? Where else do you track reading?

I’m also on StoryGraph, which imo is a slightly better and less clunky app.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Storygraph is great, my autistic ass loves reading pie charts about the books I read

Yeah it’s clunky. I stopped using it for years until I started up again at the start of 2025.

Fable is another good app! I use it for book clubs and it's great for discussion

Currently reading The Lost World and man it stinks. I know he only wrote it because Spielberg asked him to so he could make a JP sequel, but I thought it's be a little more compelling.

I finished Stoner and really enjoyed it. There were aspects of the plot that were frustrating, probably intentionally so, but they can be overlooked in favor of how wonderful the prose is. There are sections of that text that I will think about forever.

I got the Lonesome Dove series on my kindle. Why the fuck wouldn’t they order them by release date?? I obviously want to start with the first published book, not prequel nonsense. George Lucas ass publisher

I took it slow with the Thalia series over the past 2 years and all of a sudden Lonesome Dove is the tiktok flavor of the month

  25. everyone is talking about it and I am interested. the bookseller at Little Yenta in Philly says it's her favorite book and recommended Leaving Cheyenne as a shorter entry point -- I have it but haven't gotten to it yet
