It’s looks just like the Merman from Dragon Quest. Just with an extra pair of arms. That’s all I could think about when I saw it.

 

This was exceptionally bad, it was like a particularly hokey 90’s sci fi show

I doubt this is actually happening btw. After how they fucked up the CG face in Mando its the last thing this show needs:

 

while i agree their track record isn’t good with it, it puts them in the discussion every time it happens and there’s are enough dummies that think it’s awesome every time they do it that they aren’t gonna stop. he’ll be in the show for sure.

 

They hired that guy who did improved deep fakes of the Lucasfilm attempts on YouTube, so I could see it being utilized on this. I say just have Alden do a cameo though.

 

Yeah would be weird to just not have Alden do it. Why bother having made solo with him if you won't use him in future solo appearances.

 

I didn’t mind how Luke looked in Mando.

i highly doubt they go back to him considering the press cycle lasting nearly six months discussing how bad he was in the part lol

 

Real shame about that because he was good in it

 

I enjoyed Solo but he just didn’t feel like Han Solo to me. It was like Han’s little brother. I could see them not wanting to use Alden just because we know what Han should look and sound like in this period of time, he should look like Harrison Ford in Jedi. That doesn’t mean I need to see a cgi Han or Han at all really though

 

They could easily put some makeup on Alden to make him look a bit older. He doesn’t have to look exactly like Harrison Ford. It’s not worth using the same awful tech they used to make Luke’s dead-eyed, lifeless face in Mandalorian season 2.

 

Better yet let’s just not use Han at all.

 

Mandalorian > real Luke
