Even though it was extremely just fine I was entirely captivated the entire time.

 

Yeah it was fine but the fight scene in the town was pretty bad lol

 

Man they need to keep the helmet on boba so they can put a stunt double in for the fight scenes. Woof.

 

Not the best first episode but hey it was pretty sweet to have an official story to how he survived even though what was spoken was more or less guessed almost a decade before.

 

Yeah that fight scene looked more like a dress rehearsal. Still interested in the show. Wish we would have got more on his escape of the Sarlacc. As a kid, I imagined that scenario more times than I care to admit

 

Also, was that Max Rebo? Thought he went down with the ship. The day the music died.

What if it’s Max Rebo Jr? Trying to live up to his father’s legacy? Give me that show

 

“Where Are They Now - The Musicians of Jabba’s Sail Barge”

 

This was pretty bad. Like all around.

 

Pretty decent first episode, similar to S1 Mando. Building the world and setting things up, should be interesting to see what they do from here.

 

This was pretty forgettable. Between this and Mando, I am continuing to enjoy the glimpses of Tusken raider life though.

I enjoyed this overall but similar to how I felt with a lot of Mando episodes, I wish this was maybe 10 min longer. 45 min is the sweet spot. Would've been nice if they spent some time giving us an idea of what the major conflict will be going forward.

 

Yeah I couldn't believe it was over when it ended.

Also instead of the dreams/flashbacks just give us a linear story beginning with the escape instead of going back and forth.

 

I’m no less excited for the rest of the season, but the first episode didn’t really do a ton for me. It didn’t really tease or give me something to look forward to like early Mando episodes did. It’s still wide open about where it’s going.

This was fine. It’s what I expected from the trailers.

The rooftop jumping seemed a bit off from an editing view, but whatever.

 

I thought this was a better premiere than mando had, kinda shocked to see the mixed reactions in here

 

Mando is a far more interesting character than Boba in his first episode alone. Plus Mando gave a massive hook for the audience with the Grogu reveal. BOBF had absolutely nothing like that.

 

Yeah this permier was nowhere near as good as the Mando premier.

 

The assassins reminded me of power ranger villains.

 

i will say bacta tanks look great and i would like one

 

my resolution is to get one

 

that creature at the end was strange and didn't "look" star wars. which is weird because star wars has a huge variety of aliens and creatures.

 

It felt very Clash of the Titans.
