Season 2 of Mando was so good. I loved the inclusion of Bo Katan, and I hope they build on the Mandorlian lore and future more in season 3. I know the Luke scene might be controversial (I love it), but the dark saber twist at the end was executed perfectly and I can’t wait to see where it goes. Ahsoka is always awesome, and it fit the timeline well. Bill Burr at the compound was *chefs kiss*. I’m indifferent to the inclusion of Boba Fett, but it didn’t take away from the series at all.
yeah the luke scene is the only stumble for me. it was awesome in the moment but where it could lead the series could be trouble. everything else was a+.
Someone told me Gina was rehired but I’m not seeing anything on it. Could just be something stupid they read that was false.
So, this premieres tomorrow! Word is that there's a reason why so much of the trailers seems to be cut from the same footage, and apparently Robert Rodriguez is saying we've not seen anything from the second half of Episode 1. Grogu part 2? Stay tuned, y'all.
If you have a VPN, set it to a country where it's already December 29th to hear this awesome theme to the show! Otherwise, you can check out this Google Drive link.
Watched the first episode. It reminds me a lot of the first episode of The Mandalorian. Mostly vibes, no major story beats (yet). But I really dug this. Ming Na doesn't age.
That was a lot of fun and basically what I expected. Nothing major happening so far, but I'm excited for the rest of it.
Patton called it like 8 years ago lol: https://www.reddit.com/r/BookOfBoba...on_oswalt_predicted_this_scene_opening_scene/
Thought this was fine, but I'm curious to see where it goes. The creature at the end was neat but felt out of place in Star Wars to me for some reason.
This was cool, but I hope the flashbacks don’t last the entire season. As someone who was big into Arrow when it first started, the flashbacks got really old.
I'm deeply curious what creature feels out of place in a franchise with Dune sandworms, giant talking slugs, and teddy bears that shoot arrows.
Thought this was decent, def can see the Robert Rodriguez touches in it. I almost forgot this was coming out honestly though, this release date is bizarre
Considering how groundbreaking the production of the Mandalorian was, this felt so cheesy and cheap. Everything felt like a bad B-movie.
Lol i think i’m more interested in seeing how he got to the here and now than i am in any misadventures he could possibly find himself in over the next 6 episodes.
