Ehhh wasn’t a big fan of the finale. Overall I’d give the season like a 5.5/10. Episodes 5 and 6 were the absolute best.
A lot of the action was pretty damn terrible. Even by Star Wars standards, the number of times people stood still getting shot at while somehow never getting hit was way too high. Those large droids also seemed to avoid actually shooting anyone and would fire way over everyone’s heads until they ran away…then the droids would decide to finally blow up whatever they were hiding behind. I was rolling my eyes the whole episode.
lol yeah, and the rancor stuff was.... just terrible. want to forget everything about this show that i don't need to remember for Mando 3.
Like, when they introduced the Hutt twins and Krrsantan in episode 2 i was really excited for where this possibly headed. god what an utter disappointment.
Good star wars shows: The clone wars Rebels Mandalorian Bad batch Bad star wars shows: Book of boba Fett Resistance
This was so pointless lol. Felt like they rushed to do it instead of just doing a season 3 of mando and taking time on that. Just an absolute mess.
Yeah. I enjoyed it enough, and there were some points parts that I think will have lasting impacts in the universe. But I’m excited to move on to the next shows.
This is what blows my mind. If they just would've left the flashbacks out, made Boba an actual crime lord, and had the war be against the Hutts trying to take back Jabba's empire, I feel like it could have been at least a little better. Maybe even have Boba track them down to Nal Hutta to teach them a lesson on their own turf (and a change of scenery). I don't know. I'm not a writer I guess.
I really don’t get the whole part where Cad Bane is taunting Boba Fett of being a killer. Since when did Boba become a non killer? Did I miss something? Maybe I need to rewatch the Boba/Bane duel. But it just doesn’t seem to make any sense as I’m thinking back on it. Like how is calling Boba a killer a taunt? And if it somehow makes sense, then why have Boba immediately kill Bane? It only proves Bane right. So what the hell was going on in that scene? Am I crazy here?
Also that TikTok reminded me that That the Wookie was so injured and running with basically a broken ankle dragging behind him and then 3 minutes later he was fine.
I haven't watched anymore of this since episode one. From what I've heard it turns into season 2.5 of The Mandalorian? Does this get at all more interesting and does it seem like there are events that will have some implications for Mando S3? (I know that's hard to answer since no one has seen it yet)
There are 100% major plot developments leading into season 3 of Mando, but you could just read a quick summary of episodes 2-4 and start at episode 5 if you don't want to sit through it all.
Finally watched the finale and woo boy was it lame. The action was just bad. Weirdly slow. The acting of most of the side characters is not good. Also doing card bane dirty like that is annoying. His only purpose is to walk slow and menacing in a few shots. He's a great character in clone wars. Ready for obi wan.
spiffa0: "Man, this Star Wars show is hot garbage." Also spiffa0: "BRING ON THE SLOP! MORE SLOP HERE!"
I thought it was fine, just a time waster until something else comes out. Very much doubt they’ll do another season anyway.
This is sort of where I’m at. I’m not super offended by it or anything. It had some high points. Plenty of low points. But whatever. On to the next thing.
Yeah, it wasn’t good but it also wasn’t so awful I didn’t enjoy some of it. Could they have made it better? Definitely. It’s too bad they didn’t but it almost had no reason to exist in the first place lol it was clearly just something on the side to distract subs while they waited for obi wan and new mandolarian. There was some cool stuff but also a lot of bad, low effort moments which is likely why why most fans are so mad about it.
