What a bunch of Bantha Fodder that was.

 

He was cool in everyone’s imagination and in the original EU. He should have stayed there.

 

My favorite thing from this series was probably Black Krrsantan ripping Boba out of the Bacta Tank.

 

Grogu did end up helping and pretty important in saving Mando

yea, this show was ass. I agree TROS is still the worst. The show was bad but not offensively bad, more boring than anything.

Boba has never been cool.

That’s gotta be the lowest fucking bar of being cool I have ever heard. “He shot at Obiwan, he’s so cool!” Big whatever.

 

I mentioned this before but it's so weird that Grogu leaves Mando in the last episode of season 2 and will now be back with him in at the start of E1S3. There's going to be people who don't watch Boba (albeit not that many) that will be pretty confused. I guess they are banking on people watching everything, but I can't think of another show that had major plot development outside of the show like that.

 

I mean with Loki and the variants will likely play a big part going forward. If you didn't watch Loki you'd be missing out.

 

True. But I guess that cinematic universe has been set up with the Marvel stuff for a while so people know they need to keep up with everything. I imagine that's what they are trying to emulate with all these upcoming Star Wars shows.

 

Star Wars is definitely becoming more like that. Even more so when they keep adding characters from Clone Wars, etc.

 

I really really don't like what they did with Grogu. WTF was the point of the big moment at the end of season 2 when it was just going to undone in the first season of it's spinoff series?

 

It's kinda stunning to me they messed up Star War Sopranos lol

 

Yeah I always wanted the what was supposed to be the Star Wars version of a gritty crime story to have an epic Kaiju battle.

 

Well we have season 2 coming for this. I’m going to rewatch all of it in a sitting one weekend and see where my thought truly lie with this.

 

Wait.. was a season 2 confirmed? I really don't need or want that.

 

I assumed season two is confirmed with this being the season finale and not finale or series finale.

 

A second season is definitely not confirmed at this point.

 

i do not think we are getting S2 of this. i havent watched the finale yet so don't know exactly how it ends, but i believe this was always meant to be a limited series. of course anything can change if Disney thinks there is a buck to be made but, yeah I am not actively expecting or..... even wanting more of this.

 

Boba will probably just show up in Mando episodes and maybe even get his own episode (hopefully not) like Mando, but I don't see a Book of Boba Fett 2...

So much of The Mandalorian has been based on Tatooine and that's where Boba lives now so its almost a guarantee. And I know they teased Mando going to Mandalore next season, and it would make a lot of sense for Boba to go there too.

 

They better not take time away from Mando for lame ass Boba Fett.

 

If he’s part of the crew, fine, but no more stand alone shit. He can’t carry a show.

 

I could live with that. As long as it’s similar to his use in Mando s2.

 

Yup. Also if he really is going to go straight, I could see the convo he had with Din earlier in the episode about keeping his word/Mandalorian code stuff getting played on next season.
