Yeah not a single person on the planet gave a fuck about cara dune so please just make up another character lol
Give Bill Burr the Rangers of the New Republic show. In all seriousness I'm just excited for all things Star Wars.
Is this whole show gonna drop at once instead of weekly? That's what the wording kind of sounds like to me I'd love that
"How ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ Will Shake Up ‘Star Wars’ Director and showrunner Robert Rodriguez takes us inside Disney+’s ultra-secretive new 'Mandalorian' spinoff: "We couldn’t believe what we got to do." https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t...8cde128a4b3edaafeee19fe3a9ac5aaf38696c24eeca4
I keep forgetting about this. It's probably the least excited I've been for a SW release. That being said, I wasn't really looking forward to the Bad Batch and that was great so I'll give this a shot.
I find myself having a lot of difficulty getting excited for any Star Wars stuff post-Rise of Skywalker tbh
It's been a good to excellent track record since rise. Clone wars season 7 was excellent Bad batch was good to very good Mandalorian is a little all over the place but I think it's good This might be fine but it's not something I'm yearning for
both seasons of mando are better than any of the MCU shows, most of the movies, and all of the SW movies except last jedi in my lifetime. no reason to doubt this.
I feel about this what I felt about Solo. It’s not something I asked for, but I expect to have fun and I welcome it. I know this is in The Mandalorian timeline, so I’m expecting tie-ins.
the second season of Mandalorian is the exact kind of overwrought, fan service-heavy, “more concerned with tying into the larger universe than telling its own story” mess that everyone is always accusing 90% of the MCU of being lol. It’s like 50% backdoor pilots for other spin-off shows. first season was great though
Ehh, I wouldn't say that Mando's approach to storytelling is much better than the MCU's. I find the world of SW more interesting than the MCU, so I like it more. The 2nd season, while it was overall more consistent than season 1, does feel a little hollow in retrospect.
Season 2 was way less consistent and cohesive than season 1. It totally forgot what this show was originally sold as because it had to shove in Boba Fett and Luke and Ahsoka and Bo-Katan etc. It’s just funny to me seeing people who have extreme criticisms of the MCU liking season 2 of Mandalorian more because it has everything people claim to hate about the MCU all distilled into one season of television. But again, I’ve transferred most of my affection for Star Wars into the MCU at this point after Rise of Skywalker because the MCU hasn’t burned me like that yet.
nah. it was much more consistent. the first season didn't really kick into gear until 75% of the way through and yes. if two things do the same formula but one does one good and the other does one poorly, they're going to like it more lol. it isn't rocket science.
