A much more entertaining, and fulfilling, episode. The raid to take out the bike gang was pretty good, especially how it was shot
You know, I totally get the criticisms of this show But then Boba Fett releases his Bantha and tells it to go have Bantha Babies, and I can’t be mad at it
so now the past and present dont seem so far apart after all - which begs the question, either, how long was he really in the sarlacc or, was there some inexplicable 5 year time jump that he spent with the raiders??
He'll definitely be there to help. I feel like it also set up for them to put together a team of cameos.
I kinda wish this show would end with Boba just snapping and completely reneging on his changed view on life and just disintegrating everyone and then flying off. But I guess that’s why I don’t write TV.
This would have been such a solid 1st episode. as opposed to the 4th lol. Like the whole season has been GET ON WITH IT ALREADY.
I still think it’s been 5 years that he was down there. Or at the very least 3 - 4. I’d like to know how long he was with the Tuskens.
I think its way more believable that he was with the Tuskens for 4/5 years but if thats the case they did not make it seem that way at all. It also would make more sense as to why he took it so hard when they were all slaughtered.
There’s no way he was in the pit very long. They showed him needing oxygen. Clearly it wouldn’t last very long, plus, you know, food and water. But yes, the show did not make it seem like he was with the tuskens for years.
The pacing of the show has been off entirely from episode 1. The whole "interspersed flashbacks" concept can be done well but it has to work on some kind of rhythm. If they weren't going to take the time to properly integrate the flashbacks into the narrative in a way that doesn't feel disjointed and unsatisfying, then they should've just told the story in a linear fashion: start with his escape, then all the Tusken stuff, then how he met Fennec, and then finally to the present day. The way they're doing it now, it's all wonky and feels weird. Like this episode seemed as though it was going to be entirely a flashback, and then all of a sudden they spend the final ten minutes in the present. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Fixing that issue would have massively improved this.
Wait.. he had the armor on when he got out of the sarlacc... so why did he look/think it would be inside it? Did he throw it back in? Am I forgetting something?
Lol incredible point - he literally climbed out of the sarlacc in it. god this show gets worse and worse lol
