    set our hearts ablaze

I loved this the entire way though. I don't have any complaints other than the guy next to me had the most insanely loud laugh and I missed some follow up dialogue. But I will definitely be rewatching this a lot.

See it in as full of a theater as you're comfortable -- being surrounded by fans made the experience all the better. Everyone lost their shit during the skeleton teeth moment and there was just a big heartwarming "awwwww" at the ending.

There were a lot of shout outs to previous episodes/plots in the background like a graffiti Ghost Boy on a building.

I’m 15 minutes in and kind of hate it. Should I stick it out or leave the theater?

The movie is so bad a baby is crying.

okay, obviously it’s just being a baby. But my god this is a bad time for me.

No. I heard it was funny and was told I didn’t need to see the show to see this. I’ve seen like 2 episodes and thought they were decent, so I figured this would be a fun time.

It’s over! Though I’m waiting for the post credits for some reason.

I just did not find 95% of this funny or amusing at all.

    the musical numbers were painful.

the baby in the theater wasn’t a metaphor about me. There was a real baby (toddler actually I think) who was crying, got taken out of the theater, brought back, sat down a row closer to me and talked the rest of the movie.

I am clearly not the audience for this movie.

It’s fine. I was there, and it’s only a 100 minute movie. I gave it a fair chance, it was not a love connection. I paid nothing to see it, so I’m only out some time. It’s all good.

Bob explaining that Louise’s hat was inspired by his own mom, who never got to meet the kids was such a brief moment but it came out of nowhere and hit me way too hard

Whoever told you to watch this without being a fan of the show greatly led you astray. I guess you don’t technically don’t *need* to like/know the show to like this movie, but it’s hard for me to imagine the person who would lol

After seeing it myself, I stand by what I said.

the show itself may just not be for you

Probably the most disappointing moment was realizing Bill Hader wasn’t voicing Mickey

also the songs themselves were extremely subpar compared to the ones from the show. No real memorable hook, or even the oddball lyric that sticks out

Hader hasn’t voiced Mickey the last couple times he appeared on the show either. Don’t know what’s going on there. He has Barry going on but Mickey has appeared when Barry was between seasons so idk.

I think the joke that made me the laugh the hardest was
“I’m going to turn this Mole Hill into Mole Hell”

“That’s what we call dad’s back!”

    “We do?”

Did the show have as many musical numbers in the earlier seasons? I honestly can't remember and am just curious.
