only just today did I discover "Hats" and pretty instantly knew i had discovered a life long obsession

I have regressed into being a band t-shirt guy during fatherhood. Band-t and flannel for most casual events. Just the T during the summer with some short shorts

Warmer out so I am playing Peace at Last today. Great spring album.

 

I have to revisit that one, feel like after years of loving Hats it didn’t hit quite like I was hoping. Definitely a different kind of sound.

I have, I like it but find a lot of it kinda floats by me. I have given it less attention than the Blue Nile releases, though

Hoping it brings new appreciation/listeners to this band instead of turning them into a Swiftie easter egg. I evangelize this band to everyone I can but my relationship with Hats and A Walk Across Rooftops is extremely personal.
