jordan's on two of them it sounds like from the interview and im so stoked and yeah johnny wanted to do a straight up blood brothers album and 2 of the 5 (jordan and i believe morgan) didnt want to do it so this is the next best thing
It's a teensy bit frustrating that we got so close to a proper Ross Robinson-produced new BBs album, but this is sounding good enough that you can't be too sore about it.
After a few more listens, it feels to me specifically like it's most strongly evoking Crimes era BBs (minus Jordan ofc), a touch more on the groovy and hooky end with less emphasis on chaos. We are however pretty firmly not all the way over in Jaguar Love territory.
i think johnny is a brilliant man and he's one of my biggest inspirations but man he's weird for his age.
