does chorusfm fuck with the bled? first three albums are one of the best and most overlooked core runs of the 00s

Found In The Flood is absolutely perfect. Pass The Flask is great too. They lost me with Heat Fetish and Silent Treatment.

  3. Absolutely, yes!! Was just trying to play Beheaded My Way on guitar for the first time in a long while yesterday and was wondering what they were up to. I'm not sure there were talks of new music after their reunion shows?

James has this side project band that he has been doing for 3 or 4 years now. Their first EP is great, but its absolutely nothing like The Bled. No screaming.

silent treatment is my fav tbh but i agree that heat fetish doesnt meet the standard. then again, they went through a near full lineup shift outside of james so that explains why it feels so different and kinda devoid of the special sauce as it was not the same cooks in the kitchen

aching for new tunes but not expecting them either. havent heard a word about them trying to write together but i would be so curious to hear what they could do

  6. Silent Treatment remains my favorite, especially now that the remaster/remix makes it pop even more. I tend to forget about the latter's importance but it was also a significant improvement similar to letlive's The Blackest Beautiful as I'd have a hard time deciphering guitar parts back in the day. Got into them with the Heat Fetish singles so I'll always have a soft spot for that album. My least favorite is actually Found In The Flood but they don't have an album that's less than great, really.

This is the EP from James other project that I enjoy, again, nothing like The Bled but catchy AF.

  8. I can't recall the name but what was the project Jeremy started with the late Scary Kids Scaring Kids singer? They only released a couple songs before his passing, if I remember correctly, and it was pretty much a continuation of The Bled sonically.

I'm a huge Pass the Flask guy. Never dove deep into the rest of their discog for whatever reason but might do that today.

def worth hitting. found in the flood offers kind of a different flavor than pass the flask, dips into some more textural and expansive flavors occasionally while also scaling back the riffing a bit. feel like silent treatment found a good blend between the two while also pumping in some punk aggression. and even tho i wouldnt say i love heat fetish, it is still very solid and better than a lot of bands can do

Yep, I’m a HUGE The Bled fan. I think Silent Treatment is when they peaked. I miss bands making this kind of music. No one goes for the chaotic sound anymore aside from maybe Norma Jean, Greyhaven, and Better Lovers.

silent treatment gang rise up lfg, such a special album. threes away -> asleep on the frontlines -> platonic sleepover massacre is one of the sickest three song stretches ive heard on any record, such a wildly dynamic pairing of songs

Surprised FITF isnt getting more love. Musically its a masterpiece. Songs flow so well together.

legendary hidden track on that album too

always thought the sequencing of that one could have afforded to position my assassin and antarctica a little later, but those two along with daylight bombings are all timer bled songs
