I've shared this anecdote before but my longest relationship was about 5 years, and whenever I'd wind up at her parents house we would eat dinner around 6 and chill in the living room for like an hour after before we split to do whatever we were up to that night. Her parents were syndication nuts. It would be an hour or two block of Seinfeld, King of Queens, Big Bang Theory, and I think sometimes we'd get an occasional Everybody Loves Raymond. Every time something nerdy would be done or said on BBT they would be all "LOOK SARA, IT'S LIKE HOW CAM IS!". Particularly the Settlers of Catan episode. For five years. FUck this show.
