Damn I checked this thread because I thought the finale was good. And everyone in here seems to hate the show lol.
How did this show escape being dragged for the horrible caricatures, sexism, misogyny, stereotypes, etc? I watched one episode years ago and was stunned that people liked it. Sheldon was a dickhead for a decade, and people still clung to him, and he redeems it with one line in the finale? Fuck this show forever, where it will slowly die in syndication and never be heard from again. Happy we get to move into a new decade without it.
All the criticisms of this show are valid obviously but I’m always baffled when people are surprised it’s popular. Id imagine a large chunk of the audience is made up of older folk who grew up on similar/worse shows, and even I loved it when I was younger. Plus, there are way worse shows now on CBS alone so all that’s to say I never got the disproportionate hate for this show specifically.
