Sunny, melodic indie rock band from Auckland, New Zealand with a female lead vocalist. They just put out their debut full-length and it's pretty perfect energy for summer.

RIYL: Camp Cope, Bully, Miniature Tigers

This should be getting more love. Definitely a surprise this year for me. Album is consistent doesn't have a dull moment on it, straight infectious throughout.

This is unreal. Super catchy, poignant lyrics, it's a perfect summer album. I love the title track a lot.

Yeah, it's incredible. Really came out of nowhere for me and quickly became a favourite of the year.

one of the dudes on The Watch, whose music taste i don’t typically line up with, recommended it. i guess i should check out the other stuff he’s recommended this year too.

it’s a pretty small label, i could see it pushing them to a bigger one for the next record though

This record rules. Anyone catch them live/on their current tour? Considering seeing them on Friday.

Absolutely love this record. Bummed I just found out they’re playing near me next month but the show is already sold out

That was my thought just now. I’ve listened to this almost every day in 2019

The show here sold out before I got tix too, but there's also Miya Folick and Julia Holter shows the same night so I'm not too mad. This would have been my priority though, cause I feel like the next time they come through they'll be playing much bigger venues.

I can get tickets on stubhub for my date. I’ll see how I feel about it as it gets closer.

Mine isn’t sold out, but I’m still unsure if I’ll be in town the day of the show, and knowing my luck, it’ll sell out before I know
