The Leftovers gets bonus points for getting better as it goes on. So many shows do the opposite.

 

the second season is incredible. i think people were turned off bc the first season sucks. but season 2 and 3 put it in the upper echelon for me

 

I highly enjoyed thefirst season, but it was so depressing lol. But the second half of that season really picks up

 

The second season may be the best season of tv there has ever been

 

i remember after the first season wondering what the hell they were going to do and goddamn they didn’t disappoint.

The most I ever remember people talking about The Leftovers is someone joking that is unrealistic because coronavirus has wiped out so many people and everyone just keeps going around like nothing happened.

 

This fucked me up, had to turn it off for a bit.

 

Don't really have the energy to make a list but surprised not to see Orphan Black pop up once or twice. One of my favorite pilots and definitely favorite first season of television

 

Season 1 was actually my favourite but it was consistently interesting and unique throughout.
