Won't be able to participate in this like I could with music or film, but here's a twenty in no order. A lot of British comedy stuff, as that's mostly what I watch - don't watch much TV drama. The Wire The Office (UK) The Sopranos Peep Show The Simpsons League of Gentlemen Black Mirror The Detectorists The Trip The Thick of It Brasseye Inside Number 9 I'm Alan Partridge (and anything else Partridge related, as they don't share a consistent series name). Curb Your Enthusiasm It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Catastrophe Fleabag It's Only Fools and Horses Burnistoun Father Ted
The Sopranos Lost Seinfeld Succession Barry Friday Night Lights The Simpsons Twin Peaks Veep The Wire Nathan For You Breaking Bad Dark Bojack Horseman Fleabag It’s Always Sunny Futurama Love Curb The Twilight Zone
Always Sunny Arrested Development Flight of the Conchords Louie The Boondocks Adventure Time Twin Peaks Samurai Champloo Kath & Kim
This ended up a lot more comedy-heavy than I anticipated. Definitely forgetting a lot of stuff though. In no particular order: Game of Thrones LOST The Simpsons The Office (US) What We Do in the Shadows Ted Lasso Barry Parks and Rec Breaking Bad 30 Rock Community Bojack Horseman Friday Night Lights Seinfeld Righteous Gemstones Veronica Mars Succession Freaks and Geeks Star Wars: The Clone Wars Schitt's Creek
It's up there for me but hard for something with only one season to compete with some of the longer shows out there. Fantastic show though!
i don't think it's that surprising, it usually takes a few years for shows to sink in before they reach the all time pantheon

Chernobyl was incredible, but, lord i don't think i'll ever revisit it. it was heavy enough to watch once.

There are a lot of canonized shows I haven't watched but as someone who watches series very slowly and very rarely revisits any TV: Scrubs The Simpsons Breaking Bad Dragon Ball Z The Wire (haven't finished but I'll include it lol) Bojack Horseman King Of The Hill Roseanne Freaks and Geeks Star Wars: The Clone Wars What We Do in the Shadows Parks and Recreation Brooklyn Nine Nine New Girl You're The Worst Love Atlanta The Haunting of Hill House The Good Place Stranger Things Daria
There are a lot of ties, so there will be a play-in tournament. Thank you to the people who recognized John from Cincinnati and The Larry Sanders Show. @George has my ire for the most British shows that I had to look up to determine comedy or drama.
They’re pretty much all comedy, my tv watching is very casual, but because they’re all British series’, there’s only a few hours of material - so all killer , no filler!
The biggest surprise to me in counting the votes was that The Leftovers was up there with the other big boys. I have never really heard anyone talk about it.
yeah i don't know many ppl IRL who have actually watched it, i was surprised to see such a large fanbase for it here hah might rewatch that soon
