Yeah, I've been waiting on these to drop too. Ordering a case once I get back from vacation next week. Really glad the strawberry sour's proceeds are going to Orlando/Pulse charities. Really cool of them to do that. Also, that artwork Edit: Did they change their pack sizes from 6 to 4, but keep the price the same?! Edit Edit: Nope.
Not sure about the pack sizes, tbh. No too worried about it. I've had Drex on draft and really liked it. The strawberry/lemon/lime one, Nick was brewing it when the shooting happened here. He's a good dude with roots in Orlando, seems like it was just natural for him to do that.
Just so happening to be back in Boston in three weeks and my hotel is like a 15 minute walk from Trillium so needless to say I am going one if not multiple times.
Just rec'd a package from one of my good trading buddies. He sent me a mixed sixer of Creature Comforts cans for my birthday! Pretty damn pumped about drinking these.
Successful New England trip. Got some tree house yesterday. It's truly insane how long that line gets. Also was able to get a half case of heady topper in Winooski. Pretty bummed that I missed The Alcemist re-opening by a day. I left Vermont on Thursday. Not beer but Downeast Cider is absolutely delicious.
Hooray for Trillium canning now! And my roommate went to Montreal with his girlfriend and picked up two cases from the Alchemist on his way back! And I'm headed to Treehouse soon so it'll be a good few weeks for beer...
Leaving from CT early tomorrow but i'll be coming back up in December for a beer trip with one of my best friends. We'll make sure it's on the list.
Just remembered I had a maple beer on Canada Day and even about 8 drinks in at the time it was one of the worst beers I've ever had.
I stopped there in March when I was in Boston! Very good, loved the cranberry especially. Also currently in Vermont for the holiday weekend and have been spontaneously visiting breweries as I come across them. So far been to Frost, Foam, 14th star, and Four Quarters. Not bad for an impromptu family trip that turned into a brew tour.
Downeast Cider is very very very good. Is it morally wrong that my roommates and I are planning a night to get drunk and play beer pong with Heady Topper and Focal Banger?
Was lucky enough to get an early lead on it happening so I swung through Kalamazoo today and grabbed the max allotment of Bells Black Note this afternoon.
Been on Martha's Vineyard for the past week and unfortunately most of those great Boston/New England beers aren't readily available here. I did have a great Belgian the other night though from Portico called Fuzzy Logic. Don't know much about the brewery – though I'm a little wary of the brewery since they refer to it as a "Belgian Style Weiss Kolsch", which makes no sense, but maybe that's where the name comes from – but our waiter recommended it. It's somewhere between a wit (sans coriander) and a Belgian pale, and it was damn delicious.
