Seems like they've been brewing them pretty consistently for the past year or so but theres no real rhyme or reason I'd say.
Special. A new one comes out on draft about once a month. No real pattern to the canned versions yet though. They'll almost certainly have bottles of Ourison and Shambolic when you go though. Cans this Thursday are a collab they did with Jolly Pumpkin and something else. Maybe the collab with Jester King they did the same week.
Forgot to mention I had the Hopsolution the other day. Wasn't a fan. Too malty for me, like most Bell's IPAs. It wasn't bad, I just want dank hops in my face all the time. That's what she said.
fuck using the word dank to describe IPAs. my roommate literally says 'dank' after the first sip of every IPA he ever has
I thought you'd have this opinion. That's fine though, I still thought it was great. Maybe I'm just used to the malty michigan IPA's.
Saw a local brewer, Brandon from The Answer Brewpub, just did a collab with Other Half. Hopefully it's good and he doesn't bring shame to Richmond. Most of his beers are ok even if they all taste the same.
Only beer I've had that I'm okay with describing as dank? One of Night Shift's Morph rotating IPAs (4/1/16) literally smelt exclusively like weed.
Haha yeah I don't mean to badmouth it I'm obviously just used to ~*~*~DANK~*~*~ IPAs. All a matter of preference, it definitely wasn't bad just not a favorite. Oh word, I had a bunch of their stuff at Hunahpu's Day and it was great. Interested to try this if we can get our hands on it!
For sure. I've never had anything like a NEIPA outside of Heady, so I'm still a year behind the curve.
Just gotta be dedicated and tell all those dumb kids to fuck off and ditch em in school. Maybe over the summer you'll have more flexibility.
Yeah I don't know why the owner of that place and CC are so tight but whatever allowed me to try Huna without leaving my city or trading for it.
PUP is brewing a beer with Great Lakes Brewery today according to their twitter. in other news, there's a Great Lakes Brewery and a Great Lakes Brewing Company and they're two different things. threw me off big time.
Lol yep one is Canuck and the other American Also have been in Cologne for about 36 hours now and can say that I'm tiring of Kölsches really easily. Not my favorite style is an understatement. My conference had Torpedo today and I jumped on that lol.
It got up to 94 degrees today so I got a 6 of Victory Prima Pils and made some salmon tacos. Life is good.
I'll be in Baltimore this weekend for Maryland Deathfest. Any decent beer places I should check out near the Inner Harbor area while I'm there? I won't have a car so places that aren't accessible (or difficult to access) by transit are out.
The Man Who Invented Nitro Interesting article. I need to get around to trying a nitro IPA. Probably either the Left Hand one or Sam Adams. Any better ones?
I usually don't like fruit beers, but Soft Parade is always a favorite of mine. Nice to see them canning it now.
