Also is anyone interested in devil dancer from founders? I'm not a big fan but I know people might want some. Let me know.
Got to rehearsal space about two hours early, headed to a dive bar for a beer or two. Just had Briney Melon Gose from Anderson Valley Brewing Company. Pretty solid stuff
Nope haven't opened it yet. I was bummed we went to Brussels last October and missed Fou Foune by 3 days. Brought a lot of other great stuff home though but nothing beat Fou for me. Yeah I mean it's not amaaaaazing but I think it's solid and a great summertime beer. Don't drink it fresh, it tastes like gasoline. Give it at least 2 years. Aged for 5+ is ideal. I had a 7 year old one that was one of the best beers I've had.
Accidentally drank three of the best beers I've had last night. Bought a random selection of beers, and struck gold. Omnipollo - Noa Pecan Mud Cake Stout Omnipollo - Hypnopompa. Imperial stout brewed with Marshmallows and vanilla beans. Omnipollo - Bianca Blueberry Lassi Gose. I think I've fallen in love with Omnipollo.
I've only had their regular Bianca but I really enjoyed it. I want to try some of the fruited versions sometime as well.
Omnipollo is great. Plus their artwork and such is awesome as well. Really great bottles. They're milkshake IPA they do in collab with Tired Hands is wild. Edit: I can't say I've had the bottles of Milkshake IPA from Omnipollo only on tap at Tired Hands.
For anyone going to Chicago Craft Beer week stuff, try to stop by the Green Lady's Sour night. My favorite bar in the city (finally went back last week when I was home) and I never got the chance to attend it the past two years from being swamped with school/not raking in the cashola lol
Man, I really do not like smokey beers. Just had a Brewdog/ Ballast Point collab, called Shipwreck. A strong ale brewed with smoked malt and smoked agave syrup, aged in Islay and Speyside casks. Idea sounded interesting, but just way too much going on.
looking for good small breweries in the south fl area, other than the general funky buhda or salt water brewery? any ideas?
My liquor store near my work had Lunch yesterday. Was pretty good. Beer makes me love living in New England
Gave Sam Adams Nitro IPA a shot last night... not. good. First nitro infused beer I have yet to enjoy.
