Was at the bruery a couple hours ago, almost crossed paths!

 

That’s my next stop. Just left everywhere!

Got distracted by this 48 month BA at Monkish and didn’t make it to Bruery.

Revolution Brewing Peach Brandy DBVSOJ. Barleywine aged in oak, rum, and then peach brandy barrels. 14-15% ABV. The perfect Sunday afternoon beer.

 

Dentist had to clean under an old filing and then refill it this morning and my jaw is sore so yeah I had a Thursday night big ass BBA stout, ok??????

 

This is a perfect beverage

Took a drive up to Freeport for today’s Dinner release at Maine Beer Co. Grabbed a case plus some bottles of just about everything else they were selling today except for their stout, think I’ll be set on beer for the next few months!

 

Was up at the University of Virginia yesterday and stopped at some place called Sedona Taphouse. They had Hoppy Topper (can, of course) and Maine Co's Lunch available. Was such a nice surprise. Food was decent, too.

 

Not the best pic but this beer was excellent. I expected something more like a saison for some reason but this is super refreshing, bready, with a solid hop finish. Reminds me a bit of a better, non-citrusy Sam Summer (still love Sam Summer, one of my nostalgia beers).

 

It’s only 4.2% too. I found my go-to beer for this summer. This and the Peak Organic blueberry ale.

 

SO good

 

I’m not even really a huge IPA guy but damn this is just a perfect beer

 

A real big bird, indeed.
