Me neither! That was the original goal for the trip but now with the Alchemist spot opening we're going to hit both.
Oh my god. This sounds like a joke, but it's 100% real. Budweiser is rebranding their beer as "America" from now until the election Budweiser renames beer 'America' this summer
So does Bud Light change to America Light or.... That is one of the silliest decisions I have ever heard of
That reminds me -- my school has a dry campus policy (ridiculous) and if I ever get caught drinking Bud i'm just gonna say it's water haha
I've been talking about this with my girlfriend, haha. I think this summer we're planning a Philly trip because the combo of history and beer appeals to me greatly, but I also want to do a VT/New England trip.
"I'm gonna go shotgun 12oz of ice cold America" "You're going to have to excuse my friend, he had a little too much America tonight ."
If Budweiser is going with the America theme, I'm surprised Molson hasn't bombarded our TV's with, "Come with us if you want to live."
There's a pizza place here that has that on tap and I get it every time I'm there. Really good one. I grabbed the IPA box at the store today. Has like 4 different Ninkasi IPAs, including two I've never had, I'm excited.
Haven't seen Ninkasi on tap around here but I always keep an eye out for it. Dawn of the Red is solid. That was my first intro to Ninkasi. The IPA box must be a recent trend. I've picked up 2 recently - one from Heavy Seas and the other from Starr Hill. Starr Hill has a Lemon Lime IPA that rivals Deschutes' Fresh Squeezed.
It's part of their Four Kings sampler. Also included are their Habanero and Grapefruit variants. I'm not big on grapefruit but the habanero was interesting.
