I regularly purchased beer that matched my kids birthday party themes. It's been a few years since I've done it though. We have a Tangled birthday party this weekend for our 13 year old.

 

Voodoo Ranger has definitely nailed the "millennial that wants to drink beer that looks like energy drinks" market.

Denver recs?

 

I haven't been in a year or so, but I used to frequent a lot. Cerebral is a good combo of solid beers and some experimental. I really like Crooked Stave. Denver Beer Co is great vibes and straightforward but good beer. Our Mutual Friend is great. Ratio and Odell are both great picks. Baere used to be great but have kinda fallen off in the last few years

Outside of the main city (unless they added locations), 4 Noses, Avery, Westbound and Down, Weldwerks.

Cohesion, Bierstadt, cerebral. Cannonball Creek is Golden but that place rocked.

 

The coolest little cocktail bar I've been to is called Tatarian. Super unassuming but everything I've had there is phenomenal and creative. The L is also a place that looks like a dive-ish bar from the outside but has a great cocktail lineup. Adrift is a really fun tiki bar. The Block Distilling has some great spirits, specifically the best gun I've ever had, and they do cocktails on site. The Family Jones also is a distillery with cocktails, really beautiful space inside.

My brother in laws have lived in Denver for about 10 years so I've ended up spending a fair amount of time out there

 

Thanks all. Only there for a couple days days but will definitely be hitting up a couple of these.

 

You can't really go wrong, so many options, great city, have contemplated moving out there but I've got too many friends and family out here I'm not ready to leave. Maybe someday!

That's actually why I asked in here. I googled and was like well every single brewery has 4.7 or higher stars...

 

local shop was doing Horus tasting pours yesterday. Tried 6 different things. Thought they were good to great but not worth the money to be a member.

 

I've always been interested but it's too much work and money to get in

 

I'm house-sitting for my in-laws tonight so I'll be sure to chronicle what I find in their fridge and share with all you friends
