Absolutely can’t wait to get there, which will hopefully happen next summer. As special a place in the beer world as there is, run by some of the nicest people in the industry.

Separately, got to tick 3 Floyd’s Marshmallow Handjee last night. Incredible. I can see why this absolutely blew people away during peak stout hype.

I assumed and was essentially coursed into thinking AB owned Ghost energy. Apparently they were just a distribution partner. Dr.Pepper/Keurig just outright purchased them for a Billion. Ghost is a fantastic brand that sold very well in my footprint. Not sure when we would lose it but man it’s rough. Times like these I really hate this industry. Just unfortunate all these acquisitions and mergers affect smaller scale businesses like me and my retailers. Now that 7UP will eventually distribute them I’m sure they’re gonna force my customers to use shelf contracts and make sure they have at least 2-3 shelves of Ghost/C4. We as a beer wholesaler don’t do shelf contracts so really we are the good guys in terms of Non Alc distribution.

 

Had an imperial IPA from Grimm last night that rocked. Also had some citra farmhouse ale thing from Trillium that tasted so like a fruit smoothie I think I might have gotten the wrong order

Pretty good stuff! $4 happy hour beers across the street at this pretty swanky place while I'm doing laundry at the Laundromat

 

Real tasty and way less sweet than their French toast Framinghammer

 

Sam Adams Holiday White Ale is so much better than Winter Lager and it really isn't even close

Also, when did they rename it from White Christmas??

 

For those that use Untappd, their equivalent of Wrapped came out!

My Top Rated Beers list is pretty much irrelevant because I rank almost everything a 3.5 (unless I don’t like it - which is rare - and then it’s a 3 or 3.25).

This is the least amount of check-ins I’ve had in many, many years.

 

Mine was also down in 2024 compared to past years

Meanwhile is great and I really love their space in Austin

Went to Churchkey once and enjoyed it. Great vibe for a date night too.
