third window brewing in Santa Barbara. Lots of Belgian-style beers. I was very impressed with the quad and brett saison
Update: checked out Validation Ale. Only got one beer, the weizenbock. Was pretty good but not super impressive. However, I loved the vibe there. Tyler Childers on the speaker and 4 cornhole setups
Santa Barbara trip was great! Went to Third Window for a second time and had amazing wood-fired pizza and an outstanding dark lager and an amazing saison with chenin blanc grapes. We also ended up hitting the Firestone Walker in Paso Robles on the way home for beers and lunch, it was great! I picked up a bottle of their saffron saison which I’m eager to try.
Yeah I was pleased with the food at both Firestone locations, similar menus. The rib sandwich I had in Paso Robles was particularly good. Gotta say though, the pizza at Third Window was outstanding!
Looove When Pigs Fly despite the priciness. Thats also a way better tap list than when I last went but they're always stacked with great ME locals at least. The Definitive taproom is also a great stop like a mile south in the outlets.
Might stop in at monks before the something corporate show in Philly. They have hill farmstead, Russian river, and Suarez family on tap
