Those are my 2 main glasses for everything. I love my teku glasses too for any style but they are smaller volume and the long stem can sometimes be a pain
My tulip is the most versatile glass I have at home and the one I got at Trillium can fit a whole pint with a soft pour but w/ head theres usually a couple extra oz left in the can. I'd drink any style out of one of those no problem. I dont drink as often these days but I went to Earth Eagle's north location, like 10 min from me, over the weekend after some apple picking. Continuing to be one of the best and most unique breweries in my area. So much variety and they do every style I've tried there really well. Tried a kettle aged sour, Nordic ale, Belgian dubbel, schwarzbier, and a hard black tea which was weirdly good as an arnold palmer. Also they get extra points for having a full menu of like 15 different hot dogs.
It's insane to me they could be struggling given how nuts their taproom is, particularly on nice days, but given all the stuff with their lease/landlord from even before the pandemic I suppose it makes sense.
didn't even go to a single brewery. Had a French lager at a fancy French restaurant then a Highland at the Battery Park Book Exchange lol
I actually don't even like beer, not sure why I'm in this thread. I pretend to like it, I like the idea of it
We started distributing Arizona Hard Tea. I’ve never had a twisted tea but they’re pretty good esp the lemon
Blasphemous maybe, but the only beer I've ever 100% actually enjoyed and not pretended to like is a straight up normal Guinness draught. If the pour is good, it's like drinking a milkshake. Consequently, I'll try almost any stout or nitro beer to chase that dragon
Has their quality stayed over the last couple years? Looks like their pricing has gone up a bit. I haven’t had anything from there since the last batch you shipped me. But thinking about becoming a reserve member now that can easily ship stuff and they will hold it for one shipment, etc.
Pricing went up a little across the board, but I think quality has been really good lately with the barrel aged things. They closed down their sours taproom so there's a lot less sours for now, but I think they're ramping up again this year. There were some really great ones this year and a few that missed the mark but overall it's still doing it for me. I actually became a Hoarder this year haha, so I'm going to get to try even more stuff now
Nice, Alameda is one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. Almanac's always a good time, and right next door, The Rake is a cool spot too. Still haven't been to the new Humble Sea location, let me know what you think if you make it over there!
