Surprised it took this long for Off Color to get around to malt liquor. Miss their beer so much now that I've moved out of Chicago,

 

surprised someone is going to the malt liquor gimmick in 2022

 

Anyone grab any BCBS? My store has 3 of the variants sitting on the shelf but can’t really say I’m aching for any of them.

I think I have still have 3 of the 4. Never got the purple box one. I’ve never opened them!

 

Only brought home one beer from Korea (and a litre of Soju), so decided to crack it open tonight. Dark AF porter from Magpie.

 

Haven't had BCBS in years but I grabbed the fig and graham cracker one the other day... Very impressed, it's goooood

 

Anyone else WFH and have a "it's Friday and I have two hours left until the weekend so I don't give a shit" beer? It's a time honored tradition at my house

 

Oh yes. Right now I am cracking one of my all-time favs: Revolution Brewing Straight Jacket, a 15% BBA Barleywine.

 

I work from home on Thurs and Fridays but don't have any beer in the apartment so I'm having a glass of red wine

 

hot damn 15%? I'd just clock out early lol I ain't getting work done with that

 

i did that on mondays and tuesdays and wednesdays and thursdays too when i worked from home

 

It's been a loooooooong week haha.

 

I solo domed a 750mL bottle tonight so y’all are in good company. Sante Adairius’ Sun’s Warmth, a barrel-aged saison w/ peaches and mangoes.

 

If it's not 10-20%, is it even beer?!?!!

For those of you local to NYC, Red Hook Tavern does their own duo house beers which are a tribute to McSorley's light and dark. I would highly recommend them.

 

Carbon Copy, the offshoot of Tired Hands by the guys that actually make good beer and aren't assholes, is opening Saturday!
