Harlan was what I got. Gonna go Edward then blind pig. If I'm aggressive I'll have Pliny but I have had it before.
Need to go back to Monk's. Only had one beer pre-dinner there in 2017 and it was Russian River's Redemption
Had this absolute banger on Monday or Tuesday, wheatwine aged in Heaven Hill barrels, just such great flavor
Philly. I asked my server and he said they get hill farmstead a lot. I had too much lol. I had two Harlan's, an Edward, a blind pig, Pliny the elder, and a heady topper.
If anybody has an extra $1200 they can one of everything from treehouse. They have like 70 different cans to go. Wild.
it's crazy to see in the span of like 6-7 years going from getting a max of 4 cans and 1 growler fill after waiting in line for over an hour at a shed to them having that much selection and locations to choose from
Yup. And while there is a strong contingent of beer facebook that has moved their attention to the new hype beast breweries of the day and will tell you they aren't what they used to be, the beer is still fantastic imo. I would not come close to trading the 2022 tree house experience for the pre 2017 one.
Tried another Seoul brewery out tonight... this one (draupnir - American Session IPA) reminded me of Tree House's Julius. Some really good stuff and they gave me a private tour of the place after talking to the head brewer and letting him know how great their stuff was (especially for a one year old brewery). Decent food, too.
Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! Hope you’re all going to be enjoying some brew sometime this weekend!
