Anyone need any Bottle Logic stickers? I ordered a glass from them and sent them a dozen or so stickers and I don't need that many. Shoot me a PM with your address and I'll mail them out.
Not yesterday but this is a pic from the 2019 iteration it seems. Looked exactly like this: They had basically a Weber charcoal grill and that poker was consistently heated in it, and then they'd do like 3 people's beers in a row like in the pic. It was awesome haha, couldn't believe how much it affected the flavor. People on beeradvocate say they've recreated it at home by heating the handle of a cast iron pan on the stove and very carefully (with oven mitt) dipping it in their beer. Might try!
Not trying. But they will be sold. With the stipulations I only see a big boy being able to do it. When Ballast got bought out the quality went out because they cheapened on ingredients and diluted the brand/market by canning every recipe on file. Only now have they started to come back.
I love Ballast but 13.99 sculpins were never going to be sustainable. Constellation fucked up by buying the hype. They took a huge loss on that. Now Ballast is definitely in a better position.
I remember when I started working in this industry Sculpin was huge. That was 2015 and now I don’t think they have much chain distro which is sad. Again though they’re definitely doing well. I went to two of their pubs recently and the experience was great and you could tell people loved their beer/food.
Ballast was incredible when I first had it when it distro’d to Michigan. Then the prices were just too high compared to other items on shelves that compared in quality, then we never got any more fresh distro, and then it was gone. Was a big bummer.
Grapefruit Sculpin was my favorite beer until the sale. It’s been MT Space Ways since. I’m now scared another favorite is going away
I've physically been to Ballast Point a ton to try their more experiemental stuff on draft but I basically never buy cans/bottles for at home
was in dallas last weekend for wrestlemania, and super bummed that braindead brewing and legal draft beer co are both permanently closed. (as well as gino's east chicago deep dish pizza). good thing i packed a few cans of broken skull lager in the cooler. fuckin covid.
Tree House stouts are just too good. First one last night in a long time and I always forget how good they are
