I didn't really read the description before buying, because the can is so pretty haha. So I was surprised to see it was an IPA and not a sour. Not a bad thing, because it was still great, but I assumed
Southern Tier (Orange Creamsicle IPA) and Rochester Mills (Orange Whip) both have great orange creamsicle IPAs.
Ya those Mortalis prices are a huge nope from me. Admittedly I'm getting to be an old man about all of this, though - for places that were the must haves 5-8 years ago when it was all new to me, I'm probably still a hype beast. But I feel satisfied enough with Tree House/Vermont/Suarez that I really have no interest in getting excited about any non-local to me new places. Seeing those prices, perhaps it's just self preservation
I had a few of the Mortalis collabs and they were excellent but also just a fruit smoothie with booze. And cheaper than those prices
nahh, i got lucky that one of my good friends had to drive from Canada to LA a few weeks ago and said he was gonna stop by Great Notion, so I put in an order for ones I haven't seen locally distributed before. Got Pink Lemonade, Orange Creamsicle, one of the fruited berry ones and Guava Mochi
We won silver for doppelbock tonight. Medals in back-to-back GABF's is fuckin' wild for the set up we have.
Wanted to volunteer for the veils event but my son is getting baptized that day. Some things are just more important.
I’m in the bumfuck of the Smokies with my girlfriend and my family. We were out sightseeing and stumbled onto this great brewpub that opened FIVE DAYS AGO. Wanna give them a shout out because they’re green and only serve a finite number of beers everyday to stay afloat. Not to mention their beer and food is fantastic! Those are legit. They’re made by homes brewing in Ann Arbor and everyone I’ve met from that brewery are some of the nicest in the Michigan industry.
Had a heady topper yesterday for the first time in a long time and it lived up to the memory I made in my head. also had double Nelson by HF and it was also delicious.
