I had no idea it was an acclaimed beer but it’s great!

 

If I recall correctly it was made when Citra hops weren’t called citra, yet. They still were going by lab name at that point. So it’s more that it had such an impact a decade ago. Like how two hearted today is “solid” at best; the market has changed so dramatically and so have brewing techniques (hopping beers is way different now than 10+ years ago)

 

I like Gumballhead better but both are good

 

I agree on that.

I don't think I've ever had a bad 3 Floyds beer. Gumballhead, Rabbid Rabbit and Wig Splitter are probably my top 3.

 

3 Floyds is starting distro this year to Michigan and I'm excited to get it more easily

 

Need to try this

 

My fav Three Floyds is Robert the Bruce.

 

Robert the Bruce is so damn good.

Zombie Dust is also very good, especially if you get it really fresh. It hits more like a pale ale by today's beer standards, but still excellent.

 

I had a Barbarian haze the other it was not good.

It really is, and I can’t believe it. We got a bunch of Elysian pumpkin beers we’re pushing.

 

I gotta wait until the weather is in the 60's before I crave a pumpkin beer
