If I recall correctly it was made when Citra hops weren’t called citra, yet. They still were going by lab name at that point. So it’s more that it had such an impact a decade ago. Like how two hearted today is “solid” at best; the market has changed so dramatically and so have brewing techniques (hopping beers is way different now than 10+ years ago)
I don't think I've ever had a bad 3 Floyds beer. Gumballhead, Rabbid Rabbit and Wig Splitter are probably my top 3.
Robert the Bruce is so damn good. Zombie Dust is also very good, especially if you get it really fresh. It hits more like a pale ale by today's beer standards, but still excellent.
