Revision started distributing a non-IPA to California, it’s a red ale and really yummy. Leans malty rather than hoppy!
Went to some Scandinavian place called Ørkenoy today and they had not only a delicious rye saison but also like cheapest beer prices of any brewery I’ve seen. $5 for 12 oz and $7 for 17oz is a steal in 2021
8th anniversary burial Imperial Stout with Toasted Pecan, Maple Syrup, Onyx Coffee, Cocoa Butter, Cinnamon, and Mexican, Tahitian, and Bourbon Vanillas
Yep, and it’s a twelve oz which is nice. I love me some Revision, but it’s nice to have a smaller easy-drinking beer from them.
pretty sure it’s sold out. if you follow their IG lemme know if you want any of their weekly drops and i can ship stuff for ya
Shiner is pretty peachy... definitely get Peach Schnapps vibes from it. Four Peaks has one here in AZ that is a little more balanced IMO Let me know if you want me ship any your way. (but I know your fridge is quite covered at moment :))
All seltzers down the shore. Truly Tropicals and Vizzys are still the best. Coors Creamsicle is solid for one, not a ton. Smirnoff Red White and Blue taste like you dipped a rocket pop in water. The Bud Light retro summer flavors have been the big surprise so far. Already scoping out where we can get more
https://gofund.me/bfd923b5 Skeleton Key got a direct hit from the tornado that ripped through the Chicago suburbs last night. Had been meaning to go here more than one occasion but will be donating to this.
I’m flying to Bozeman tomorrow to go to Yellowstone and apparently, Bozeman Brewing Co has really upped their barrel-aged sour program, so I’m hoping to check it out! I know Mountains Walking in Bozeman is also highly regarded, but looks like they mostly do hazies, smoothie sours, and pastry stouts.
Anyone know of any good brewery tin tackers/signs? My friend got me one from Russian River last year that I hung up in my backyard and want to get some more. I saw the Alchemist has one for Heady Topper and Focal Banger. Allagash has some too. Would love it if some of my local breweries did it (Threes, Other Half, Grimm, etc.) but don't believe they do.
I have the focal banger tin tacker and a clown shoes one that the bottle shop I worked at years ago never hung up so I took it.
